When you upgrade your Microsoft Windows 95-based computer to Windows 98 or Windows Me, the Ieremove.exe tool may still exist on your computer. This tool is used to remove Internet Explorer version 4.0 or 4.01 from a Windows 95-based computer. Do not use the Ieremove.exe tool if you are using Windows 98 or Windows Me.
