SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project 98, after saving a baseline, when you view the Task Usage or Resource Usage view, timephased Baseline Work values might not be the same as timephased Work values.
NOTE: There may also be timephased Baseline Work values of zero after the task Finish date.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when all of the following conditions are true:
- A resource is assigned to a task.
- The resource assignment on that task has a contour other than a Flat contour.
- You have saved a baseline.
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, install Microsoft Project 98 for Windows Service Release 1 (SR-1).
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, Service Release 1 (SR-1).
