Note for Microsoft Windows 2000 and COM+
On Microsoft Windows 2000, there is no need to install MTS or the NT Option Pack. COM+ replaces MTS as the component manager and can be administered by using the Component Services Snap-In under Administrative Tools.
To add COM+, Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), and other operating system components that ship with the Windows NT Server 4.0 Option Pack, use the Add/Remove Programs utility in Control Panel, select Windows Components, and then install the components that you need.
