SUMMARY
This article describes how to create a centered, non-tiled watermark in FrontPage that remains fixed (does not scroll) behind any scrolling foreground information. This procedure uses Cascading Style Sheet technology for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0.

To insert a fixed watermark on your page, follow these steps:
- In FrontPage Editor, open the page on which you want to add a watermark.
- On the File menu, click Page Properties, and then click the General tab.
- In the Page Properties dialog box, click Style, and then click the Colors tab.
- Click Browse.
- Double-click the file that you want to use for the watermark.
- In the Attachment list, click Fixed.
NOTE: The Attachment option allows you to define whether the image scrolls with the text or not.
- In the Repeat list, click No Repeat.
- In the Vertical Position list, click Center.
- In the Horizontal Position list, click Center.
- To preview how your page will look, click Preview In Browser on the File menu.
For more information about the options you can choose in the Style dialog box, click the Help button while the Style dialog box is open.
NOTES:
- You can also create a watermark by selecting the Watermark check box in the Page Properties dialog box (File menu). However, when you use this option, the image will be tiled behind your foreground information.
- If the image you are using for the watermark is not already in your Web, you should import the image into your Web before using it in creating a watermark. For more information about importing a file, click the Index tab in FrontPage Help, type the following text
