CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you perform the following steps:

  2. You save, close and reopen that project.
  3. You set the same task's Percent Complete value to zero.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, follow these steps:

  1. Select the task you want to change the Percent Complete value to zero.
  2. On the Project menu, click Task Information.
  3. Change the Percent Complete to an intermediate value, not zero (for example 10%) and click OK.
  4. On the Project menu, click Task Information.
  5. Change the Percent Complete to zero and click OK.
