SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project 98, when you print or print preview a project in the Calendar view, some tasks might not be displayed.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:

  • The project you are printing or previewing contains inserted projects.

  • You have selected to print the Calendar view using the Weeks Per Page or Week height as on screen To find these options, click Page Setup on the File menu; then click the View tab.

  • Tasks from each inserted project are displayed on the same row in the Calendar view.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, move the task that was missing in the printout or in print preview to a different row in the Calendar view, by clicking it and dragging it up or down.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.

This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project 98 for Windows, Service Release 1 (SR-1).
