SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to place a call using Phone Dialer, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if your computer's date is set to 1/19/2038 or later.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, set your computer's date to 1/18/2038 or earlier. To do so, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double- click Date/Time.
- Adjust the date to 1/18/2038 or earlier, and then click OK.
