SYMPTOMS

When you view certain Web pages, some text may overlap other text.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you select the Large Fonts setting in the Font Size box on the Settings tab in Display properties. Web authors use style sheets to customize Web pages, defining specific font size, style, and page layout.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, you may want to reset the font size to small fonts. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click a blank area of the desktop, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Settings tab, and then click Small Fonts in the Font Size box.
  3. Click OK, and then click Yes to restart the computer.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
