SUMMARY
This article contains information on flags that can be used to troubleshoot the Microsoft ActiMates Interactive Barney software.
The following flags are available in the ActiMates Barney software:
Show System Information (-i)
Use this to show system information concerning the sound card and MIDI configuration.
Disable All Tests (-d)
Use this to allow Setup or the Multimedia title to launch, bypassing tests.
Run Setup (-s)
Use this to force Setup to run, even if the title is already installed.
Test ActiMates PC Pack Transmitter (-a)
Use this to test the ActiMates PC Pack Transmitter. This will only work with the Island.exe program. Using this flag with the other titles will always result in the test passing.
Do Not Test ActiMates PC Pack Transmitter (-x)
Use this to disable ActiMates PC Pack transmitter testing.
Test All Error Dialogs (-e)
Shows all possible error dialogs.
Display Flag List (-?)
Shows this list of available flags.

Fun on Imagination Island
- Insert the ActiMates Barney compact disc into the CD-ROM drive.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
Type the following:

Barney Goes to the Circus
- Insert the ActiMates Barney compact disc into the CD-ROM drive.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
Type the following:
d:\circus.exe -?
Barney Under the Sea
- Insert the ActiMates Barney compact disc into the CD-ROM drive.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
Type the following:
d:\sea.exe -?
Fun on the Farm with Barney
- Insert the ActiMates Barney compact disc into the CD-ROM drive.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
Type the following:
d:\farm.exe -?
NOTE: To use other flags, substitute the -? flag listed above with the flag of your choice.
