SYMPTOMS

When you apply Big First Letter formatting to your text box and then select Right Align, all the text will be right-aligned except the big first letter.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Greetings Workshop version 2.0 Standard and Deluxe Editions. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Open a project in Greetings Workshop.
  2. Add a new text box.
  3. Enter some text.
  4. Click the Big First Letter icon on the toolbar. This icon has a capital letter "A" with five horizontal lines next to it.

This will make the first character of your text box larger than the other characters.

  1. Click the Right Align icon on the toolbar. Note that the big first letter remains left-aligned. The rest of your text is right-aligned.
