SYMPTOMS
While trying to preview, one of the following error messages appears in the SOFTIMAGE 3D Command Prompt:
CreateDIBSection failed with error code = 0
-OR-
worldtoprsp1: divide by zero, transformation ignored
This can also cause SOFTIMAGE 3D to crash without any warnings.
CAUSE
The X resolution and perhaps the X and Y resolution in Preview Setup are set to 0. You must specify a value other than 0 for the X (Y resolution alone does not cause a problem).
RESOLUTION
In the Preview Setup, enter a value other than 0 for the X resolution.
