How to Remove Unwanted Game Actions from Recorded Events

ID: Q173885

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft SideWinder Game Device software version 2.0

SUMMARY

Profile Editor can record up to 32 game actions (such as a keystroke, a button press, or a combination of keystrokes and button presses) as a single recorded event using the event recorder.

While you are using the event recorder, you might mistakenly record an unwanted game action. This unwanted game action can lead to unexpected gaming device performance.

You can remove one or more unwanted game actions from a recorded event without having to delete the entire event.

MORE INFORMATION

To remove an unwanted game action from a recorded event, use the mouse to select the unwanted game action and then press the DELETE key or the BACKSPACE key on the keyboard.

You can repeat this process until you have removed all of the unwanted game actions from the event.
