Game Device Editor Is Not Required for InputSprocket Games

SUMMARY

When you are using the Microsoft SideWinder 3D Pro, you do not need to create a profile using the Microsoft SideWinder Game Device Editor for any game that supports Apple Computer's InputSprocket technology. Creating a profile for a game that supports InputSprocket technology may adversely affect your control of the game.

The SideWinder 3D Pro joystick is compatible with Apple's InputSprocket version 1.2 or later. For information about InputSprocket, please visit the following Web site:

NOTE: InputSprocket version 1.4.1 is included with Mac OS System 8.6.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SideWinder 3D Pro for Macintosh, version 1.0.
