SYMPTOMS

When you insert a worksheet into a workbook, the NewSheet event is not triggered.

CAUSE

The NewSheet event will not be triggered if you have saved a default worksheet template (Sheet.xlt) in your Xlstart folder.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
