SUMMARY

When you create an extrusion (Model ->Surface->Extrusion), you have control over the subdivision of the resulting object. Unfortunately, there are restrictions. When the resolution is too dense, new vertices are not added. If you continue to increase the subdivision, the resolution of the object may decrease.

In order to avoid problems, before you apply the Extrusion command, first scale your spline by enlarging it 10 or 20 times. By enlarging it, you are able to increase the subdivisions without a reduction in the resolution.
