SYMPTOMS
When you add a ListBox control to a UserForm, the width of the ListBox may change unexpectedly.
CAUSE
The width of a ListBox control may change unexpectedly if both of the following conditions are true:
- You add ListBox control that has multiple columns. -and-
- You set the width of the first column in the ListBox to zero (0).
WORKAROUND
To prevent the ListBox from being resized, use a value greater than zero for the width of the first column in a multicolumn ListBox control.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Excel 2000.
