SUMMARY

This procedure is provided to show you how to view the mirror image of your scene by flipping the camera on the x-axis.

MORE INFORMATION

  1. From the Spreadsheet window, in the Edit Clause section, click Query and in the dialog box that appears, enter the clause:

    chptyp==CAM

  2. In the Spreadsheet, click Columns. In the dialog box that appears, double-click on CAMERAS (this expands the camera parameters in the Available Columns scroll box).

  3. Scroll down the list to the projection plane attributes and highlight the following:

    cmfov, cmaspr, cmpdst, cmpszx, cmpszy, cmpofx, cmpofy, cmpact

  4. In the Spreadsheet, toggle cmpact to on (you are now in the projection plane camera mode).

  5. In the cmpszx (camera projection plane size in X), add a minus sign (-) in front of the number.

You can use this feature for viewing and rendering.
