SYMPTOMS

When you insert a compact disc into your CD-ROM drive, or attempt to run a CD-ROM based program, you may receive one of the following error messages:

  • CDR-101








where CD-ROM is the letter of the CD-ROM drive.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if either of the following conditions are true:

  • The CD-ROM for the program is damaged or needs cleaning.


  • The CD-ROM drive is not properly configured.
