HOWTO: Create a Personalized List of Rendering Host Machines

SUMMARY
The Info -> MentalHosts custom effect lets you select rendering host machines for mental ray rendering. Since you do not have write access to the Softimage directory, the following procedure shows you how to set up the Info > MentalHosts custom effect:
Source your Softimage 3.7 environment variables and enter the following command:
setenv SI_CUSTOM_MATTER ~ (make it your home directory, and only your home directory)
Now you can run mr_cusgen and give it the name of the file with the list of hosts. It will create MentalHosts.cus in your home directory.
Edit your .softimage file so SI_CUSTOM_MATTER now contains ~:<math display="inline">SI_LOCATION/3D/custom/matter:</math>SI_LOCATION/3D/gifts/custom/matter.
Now when you choose Info > MentalHosts in the Matter module, you can select a host machine from your personalized list.
