Depending on the copy of the Microsoft Windows 95 Resource Kit that you have, you may have the utilities on one CD-ROM or three disks.
If You Have One CD-ROM
- Insert the Windows 95 Resource Kit CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click the Windows Setup tab.
- Click Have Disk.
- In the Install From Disk window, enter the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive in the "Copy manufacturer's files from:" input box, and then click OK.
- In the Components list, click to select the components that you would like to add.
- Click Install.
If You Have Three Disks
- Insert the Windows 95 Resource Kit Disk 1 into your disk drive.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click the Windows Setup tab.
- Click Have Disk.
- Type A: in the "Copy manufacturer's files from:" input box, and then click OK. If your 3.5-inch floppy drive is not disk drive A, substitute the correct drive letter.
- In the Components list, click to select the components that you would like to add.
- Click Install.
- When prompted, insert the appropriate disk into the disk drive.
