When you use the WindowNewWindow command in a macro, you receive the following run-time error:

Run-time error '1100'
This method is not available in this situation.

This error occurs if the document window is hidden.

NOTE: In Microsoft Project, you can hide a document window using the Hide command on the Window menu or through a macro.

To prevent the run-time error, open at least one file (window) before you run the macro or unhide any hidden windows by clicking Unhide on the Window menu.
