SYMPTOMS

When you try to use online banking in Microsoft Money, you may receive the following error message:

Money requires some components of Internet Explorer in order to function properly. Please reinstall Money so that Money can add these components for you.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you remove Microsoft Internet Explorer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall Money.

If the issue continues to occur, remove and reinstall Microsoft Internet Explorer, or download and install the latest version of Internet Explorer from the following Microsoft Web site:

MORE INFORMATION

Money uses components of Internet Explorer for online banking. Money requires these components even if you use a different Web browser.

The Internet Explorer folder on the Money CD contains the Internet Explorer version that you must have for Money 99 and later.
