SYMPTOMS
When you are attempting to create a new object in Windows Explorer and you click a menu other than the File menu, point to the File menu, and then point to New, the New command has no functionality.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, click File, point to New, and then click the command associated with the object you want to create.
