To determine the brand and model of any sound cards or audio devices installed in your computer, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click System.
- On the Device Manager tab, double-click Sound, Video And Game Controllers to expand the branch.
- Note all the devices listed in the Sound, Video And Game Controllers branch.
- Click OK.
- In Control Panel, double-click Multimedia.
- On the Advanced or Devices tab, double-click Audio Devices to expand the branch.
- Note all the devices listed in the Audio Devices branch.
- Click OK.
