MSN Sign In Screen Continues to Appear

SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to connect to MSN, The Microsoft Network, the MSN Sign In screen may continue to appear until the MSN Troubleshooting page appears.
CAUSE
The Msncall.exe file may be damaged or missing.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.
- In the Named box, type "msncall.exe" (without quotation marks), and then click Find Now.
- Right-click the Msncall.exe file in the list of found files, and then click Delete.
- Insert the MSN CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. If the Auto Insert Notification option is turned on, close the Welcome To MSN window that opens on the desktop.
- Double-click My Computer.
- Right-click the CD-ROM drive icon, and then click Explore.
- Double-click the Msnsetup folder.
- Double-click the Compnts folder.
- Double-click the Msn13.exe file.
- When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.
