MSN, The Microsoft Network, does not support 56K modem technology.

MSN has plans to support the Lucent/Rockwell K56 Flex modem protocol for 56K modems. This technology is expected in a future release of MSN. Support of other 56K protocols, such as the US Robotics X2 modem protocol, is not planned.
