The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 for Windows 95
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 for Windows NT 4.0

SYMPTOMS

When you click Options on the View menu, and then click Settings under Temporary Internet Files on the General tab, the Move Folder button is unavailable.

CAUSE

This function is not enabled in Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview 2.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
