In Microsoft Money, you can use AutoBalance to track interest expense and service charges on your credit cards without having to track all of your expenses. AutoBalance enters an account adjustment based on the information you enter.

The amount of the adjustment is calculated as follows:

     Total Balance Due
   - Previous Balance*
   - Interest Charges
   - Service Charges
     Account Adjustment

*Previous Balance = Total amount Due - Payment amount
