The second sentence of the Delegate Owner permission definition under the Access Permissions help topic states the following:

Delegate Owners can change users' access permissions for your schedule,
and they receive meeting requests and reminders on your behalf.
                

This sentence should state the following:

Delegate Owners can change users' access permissions for your schedule,
and they receive meeting requests on your behalf.
