To save Internet shortcuts to the desktop from MSN, use one of the following methods:
Method 1
- Right-click the Web link you want to save, and then click Save Target As on the menu that appears.
- Type a name for the shortcut, click the Windows\Desktop folder, and then click Save.
NOTE: You can save only Web links that appear as jump text (hot text) in Program Viewer.
Method 2
- Open the Web site to which you want to save a shorcut.
- Copy the Web address from the Address field in Program Viewer.
- Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- Paste the address into the Address field in Internet Explorer.
- On the File menu, click Save As File.
- Type a name for the shortcut, click the Windows\Desktop folder, and then click Save.
