SYMPTOMS

If you change the Caption property of a UserForm from the Properties window, the UserForm may flash or flicker.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 97 for Windows.

A caption is descriptive text that appears directly on or around a control. The following controls have the Caption property: UserForm, CheckBox, CommandButton, Frame, Label, OptionButton, and ToggleButton. The Page and Tab objects that are part of the MultiPage and TabStrip controls also have the Caption property.

NOTE: The caption of a UserForm is the text that appears in the title bar of the UserForm.
