SUMMARY
The information contained in this article is provided to give an explanation of how the FourthD custom effect works.
FourthD works on the scanlines of the images and shuffles/offsets their appearance in time throughout the image sequence. In order for FourthD to work, you need at least twice as many frames as scanlines in your images. That is, if your images are 640x480, you need 960 frames (480x2). If your image does not have enough frames, when FourthD gets to the last frame, it does not have an image to read/write the scanlines from the previous frames. To fix this, you need to expand your image sequence to cover a broader frame range or, by simply cycling your current frames several times but, you may get a different end result.
