INFO: Why Some Files Do Not Appear in SOFTIMAGE File Browsers

The information in this article applies to:

  • Softimage 3D for Windows NT, version 3.51

SUMMARY

Files whose extensions are in upper-case, will not appear in SOFTIMAGE file browsers. All the files you use in SOFTIMAGE (i.e. pic, obj, tga, tiff, dxf, etc...) must have their extension in lower-case.
