SYMPTOMS
On the Advanced tab of the Mailbox Properties dialog box, a Microsoft Exchange administrator can set limits to restrict the size of messages delivered to that mailbox. However, even though this limit is set, messages larger than the limit are still delivered to the mailbox.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server versions 4.0 and 5.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
