Article ID: 169535

Article Last Modified on 5/1/2001

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 5.0 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 6.0 Standard Edition

This article was previously published under Q169535

SUMMARY

Unlike Visual SourceSafe 4.x, you cannot set the EOL option cannot within the Visual SourceSafe 5.0 or later Advanced dialog box. In Visual SourceSafe 5.0 or later, you have to manually set the EOL option in the Srcsafe.ini file. This is by design.
