When run under OS/2 Warp, the Systems Management Server Inventory Agent (Invos2.exe) fails to detect the following:

  • Network (Null values for all IP address, machine name, and logon attributes)
  • Netcard (No group displayed in personal computer properties)
  • Memory (Null value displayed for Physical Extended Memory)
  • Video (Null values for adapter type, manufacturer, and BIOS date)

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
