SYMPTOMS
Systems Management Server does not report the 3Com 3C589 PC Card adapters during the inventory collection process for client computers running Windows 95.
The Netcard icon does not appear under the computer's properties. The NetcardID in the Identification properties has the correct value. However, the NIC Address in the Network properties has a <null> value.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.2. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
