Article ID: 164759

Article Last Modified on 11/10/2003

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Commercial Internet System 1.0 Service Pack 2

This article was previously published under Q164759

SYMPTOMS

When you replicate Microsoft Membership Server (MBS) Token mapped access control lists (ACLs), Content Replication System (CRS) intermittently fails to automatically create Microsoft Windows NT groups and/or map existing MBS tokens to the Windows NT groups on the target computer.

RESOLUTION

This bug has been fixed in Service Pack 2 for MCIS. CRS will properly create Windows NT groups and set the correct ACL based on the MBS Token relationship on the target computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 1.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 1.0.
