SYMPTOMS
When you insert a graphic file into a Microsoft Office program, the graphic may not be displayed properly. Specifically, dashed or dotted lines in the graphic may not be drawn properly.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the following conditions are true:
- You insert a graphic file into your document that has been saved in one of the following file formats:
Enhanced Metafile (EMF)
Windows Metafile (WMF)
-and-
- You are running Microsoft Windows NT.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).
