Logon Dialog for Visigenic Oracle Driver Displays Incorrectly

Q149766

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Query for Windows 95, version 2.0

SYMPTOMS

The Oracle Connect dialog box displayed by the Visigenic 32-bit Oracle driver may display extra white spaces before each field label. If you are using the ODBC driver under Microsoft Windows NT version 3.51 or later, the edit boxes for each field may also appear with a gray, instead of white, background. Also, when you enter text in any of the fields, the text appears with a white background.

STATUS

This behavior does not affect the performance of the Visigenic ODBC driver, but is simply a display problem with the Visigenic 32-bit Oracle Driver, version 1.03.0009.

(Note that as of 12/9/98, Visigenic has been acquired by INPRISE, Inc.)
