Article Last Modified on 12/15/1999

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Word 6.0 for Macintosh

This article was previously published under Q128179

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to fax a document from Word version 6.0 for the Macintosh, the print job may be spooled, but nothing faxes. Also, you may not be able to use the No Chooser control panel. No Chooser is a system extension that allows you to fax from any application even though you have a printer selected in the Chooser.

CAUSE

This problem is caused by an incompatibility between Delrina's No Chooser extension and Word 6.0 for the Macintosh.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, update to Word 6.0.1, which corrects the conflict with Delrina's No Chooser extension.

To fax without problems in Word 6.0, select the ImageSaver III driver in the Chooser.

No Chooser and MacFax Pro are manufactured by Delrina, a vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability. For more information about MacFax Pro, contact Delrina.
