3/2 Currency Grouping Not Available in Windows 95

SUMMARY

Windows 95 supports various currency grouping options in the Regional Settings utility in Control Panel. However, it does not currently provide functionality for "3/2" currency grouping.



MORE INFORMATION

Some countries (such as the United States) use three digits to group currency. For example:

   $123,456,789.00 

Some countries (such as India and Pakistan) use three digits in the first group, and two digits in all subsequent groups. For example:

   $12,34,56,789.00 

Windows 95 provides support for grouping digits in groups of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10. It does not currently provide a secondary grouping option.



STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows 95. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
