XL5: Edited TipWizard Bulb Will Not Change Colors

SUMMARY

In Microsoft Excel version 5.0, if the image for the TipWizard button has been edited, the TipWizard light bulb will no longer change between yellow and white colors.

MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft Excel version 5.0 allows button images on the toolbar to be edited. The TipWizard button, which normally changes between white and yellow to indicate available unviewed tips, will not function if the button image has been edited.

To reset the button image, do the following:

1. From the View menu, choose Toolbars and then choose the Customize button.
2. Click the TipWizard button with the right mouse button to display the shortcut menu.
3. From the shortcut menu, choose the Reset Button Image command.

NOTE: If Reset Button Image is not available, then the button image has not been edited.
