SYMPTOMS

The default font used in the database list view and the database report are the same.

Because of this, using Select All to change the font size used in the list view of the Works Database will affect the display of the report view. Changing the font size in the Works Database causes the width of the row headers (that is, where it displays Title, Heading, Record, and so on) and the column headers (A, B, C, and so on) to be incorrect. Also, if you change the font in the report view and preview the document in print preview, the row height and row/column header fonts will be incorrect when you cancel the preview.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in works for Windows version 3.0. This problem was corrected in Works versions 4.0 and later.

NOTE: When you return to report view, the row height and the font of the row and column headers are incorrect.

This behavior will continue until the file is saved.
