SUMMARY
If you install Microsoft PowerPoint for Windows on a clean installation of Windows, many changes will be made to your WIN.INI file. This article contains a list of the changes. Note that the following abbreviations will be used to specify directories whose name may vary depending on the user and the type of Windows and/or PowerPoint installation performed.

| <msapps> | The location of the shared components |
NOTE: These paths can either be absolute paths, including drive letters, or can be relative/UNC paths. This depends on whether Setup is run using absolute paths or UNC paths.
