SUMMARY

To print a full page of only gridlines, field labels, and record numbers from the list view of the Database module, do the following:

  1. Open or create a Database file.
  2. From the list view, hide all of the records by highlighting them and then clicking Hide Record from the View menu or the Record menu in Works 4.0, 4.5, or 4.5a.
  3. Scroll down to a record number that is equal to one page or longer, such as record number 144. This record number is dependent on the printer and video driver being used.
  4. Type a quotation mark (") followed by a space in one of the fields.
  5. From the File menu, click Page Setup.
  6. Click the Other Options tab.
  7. Select the Print Gridlines check box and select the Print Record And Field Labels check box. Click OK or press ENTER.
  8. From the File menu, click Print or Print Preview.
