SYMPTOMS
When opening envelope or label documents that have been created in Works 3.0 for Windows, the Paper Source in Page Setup may reset to either manual feed or envelope manual feed, depending on the printer selected.
This may cause problems when you attempt to print envelope and label documents. It may also cause label documents to display incorrectly in Page Layout view.
This problem does not occur if the paper source for the selected printer is set to Tractor Feed.
WORKAROUND
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works version 3.0 for Windows. This problem was corrected in Works version 3.0a for Windows.
Change the paper source in Page Setup every time the document is reopened. To change the paper source in an envelope or label document, complete the following steps:
- Open the envelope or label document.
- From the File menu, choose Page Setup.
- Choose the Source, Size And Orientation tab.
- Select the correct paper source from the Paper Source box.
- Choose OK to return to the document.
