SYMPTOMS
The bullets are lost when you open a Word 6.0 document containing bulleted paragraphs in headers, footers, and/or annotations into Word 2.0 for Windows using the MSWORD6.CNV converter supplied with Word 6.0 or the Word 6.0 for Windows Converter Kit (part number 059-150-345).
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with these two versions of the MSWORD6.CNV converter. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
WORKAROUND
Save your document as Word 2.0 for Windows format from within Word 6.0 and then open it in Word 2.0. When documents are converted in this manner, the problem does not occur.
