SUMMARY
=======

When the right edge of the tab ruler is adjacent to or partially covering a
tick number (a number on the ruler) and the ruler is moved, the tick number
disappears.

SOLUTION
========

Moving the text frame slightly or resetting the zero point on the
ruler causes the tick mark number to redraw on the ruler.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE PROBLEM
==========================

1. Create a text frame.

2. Position the right side of the frame so that the tab ruler is
   adjacent to or partially covering a tick number.

3. Move the ruler.

Expected Result
---------------

The tab ruler doesn't erase the ruler tick mark number.

Actual Result
-------------

The tab ruler number disappears.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Publisher versions 2.0 and
2.0a. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
