EXCEL: Macro with Print Command Hangs Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel version 4.0 for the Macintosh, when you run a macro that includes the following statement

   =PRINT(,,,,,,,,,,)

Microsoft Excel may halt with a system error of type 1.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, remove the commas from the PRINT() command as in the following example:

   =PRINT()
